General Authority for Awqaf

An e-service provded by Awqaf which enables donors, supervisors and agents to request judicial support to appoint a lawyer to plead a case or provide advice, by submitting a request to the General Authority of Awqaf to ensure that the endowment is eligible for judicial support, and then sends it to the Saudi Bar Association to appoint a lawyer to plead a case or provide legal advice without visitation need.

The request for judicial support services shall be limited to (a case related to the endowment or a request for legal consultation on the endowment), and the applicant shall be the endower, the endowment trustee, or their representative.
The request for judicial support services shall not be related to a case or consultation against the endowment trustee or a claim for entitlement in the endowment.
The request for judicial support services shall not be in a matter where a final judgment has been issued by the competent court.
The endowment shall not have any revenue or income that is sufficient to bear the lawyer's fees in the matter of the requested service, whether it is litigation or consultation.
The service applicant shall attach all documents related to the case or consultation (court session records - supporting evidence - memoranda submitted by the parties to the case and their attachments - expert reports if any - documents related to the consultation).
The service applicant shall be responsible for the accuracy of the information, documents, and declarations provided by them, and the authority has the right to take the necessary legal actions against the service provider if it is found that the information and documents provided are inaccurate or if it is found that they have concealed some information that is influential in the requested service or if it is found that they are not entitled to it.
The service applicant acknowledges that the service is an initiative of the General Authority for Endowments to support the endowment sector in cooperation with the Saudi Bar Association, and the General Authority for Endowments has the discretionary power to approve or reject the request without giving reasons, and it has the authority to handle the request in the manner it deems appropriate.
