Property Unit Handover and Return Service

General Real Estate Authority

An electronic service that enables the parties involved in a lease agreement to document the condition of the residential unit at the time of handover and return. The documentation is linked to the registered lease contract in the Ejar system and is completed through electronic forms agreed upon by the contracting parties within seven days of the start and end of the lease. All this is done without the need to visit the relevant authority.

A registered contract in the Ejar system is required.
The service currently applies to residential contracts only, not commercial ones.
