Logging in to the meteorological permits portal (creat a new account if no previous account exists).
After logging in, select the service
Completing the form and providing the required documents.
Submitting the application.

first the license applicant must submit the following documents:
An application on the forms approved by the center.
A receipt for payment of the financial fee for the required service.
A valid copy of the national ID or residency, with the original presented for review, provided that the applicant is not less than 18 years old.
Two personal photos, size 2x3.
A certificate of experience issued by the General Organization for Social Insurance, indicating previous work periods (insurance printout).
A certificate of experience from a monitoring facility/institution approved by the National Center of Meteorology stating that the license applicant has spent the following period of experience:
Forecaster: Experience of not less than six months
Observer: Experience of not less than six months
The original academic qualification, documented and certified, provided that the qualification meets the following controls:
The qualification must be issued by one of the official Saudi institutions, or provide evidence of its equivalence from official national authorities for those who obtained it from abroad.
The qualification obtained by the applicant for a license to practice any of the professions referred to at the beginning of this guide must cover the following aspects:
It must include all components of the basic education program set required for the applicant for a license to practice the profession of a forecaster (Bachelor of Meteorology).
It must include all components of the basic education program set required for the applicant for a license to practice the profession of an observer (Diploma of Meteorology).
The applicant for the permit/license must submit evidence of having obtained practical qualification or professional training in a field of meteorology from an accredited regional center or a specialized national agency. This excludes those who have previously practiced work as a meteorologist or technician in any official national center or agency, provided that an official statement proving this is submitted.
A recent certificate of no criminal record addressed to the National Center of Meteorology (original).
A report of passing the medical examination.
A declaration that includes a pledge to the validity of all documents submitted and that it bears full criminal and civil responsibility in the event of their invalidity.
The center may add any other controls or conditions as it deems appropriate.
second: the applicant for (license renewal) is required to submit the following documents:
An application on the forms approved for this purpose by the center.
Payment of the financial fee for the required service.
A recent certificate of no criminal record addressed to the National Center (Original Meteorology).
Original validity of the previous license.
The licensee nominated for a higher category in the professional specialization according to the registration gradation system is required to submit the following documents:
Social insurance certificate.
Certificate of experience approved by the meteorological facility to which the licensee is affiliated.
A pledge of the validity of the documents.
Third: The applicant for (extracting a lost replacement) is required to submit the following documents:
An application on the forms approved for this purpose by the center.
Payment of the financial fee for the required service.
Evidence of submitting a report to the center regarding the loss of the professional practice card.
