Accepting the Transfer of Commercial License Ownership

This electronic service available on the Balady platform enables the previous owner to submit a request to transfer ownership of their commercial license to another owner. This applies to various business activities, including but not limited to: business licenses, environmental licenses, industrial company licenses, medical company licenses, food company licenses, tourism company licenses, and professional institution licenses.

Log in to the Baladi platform.
Click on the "Services List" link from the "Services" menu in the top navigation bar.
Search for the "Accept Transfer of Commercial License Ownership" service by entering the service name in the search box ("Search here...").
Once the requested service appears, you can view its details by clicking on "Details."
After reviewing the service card, you can begin the process by clicking on the "Start Service" button.

Lease Agreement, Property Deed, or Investment Contract for the location from the municipality or other government authorities.

Government Requirements and Approvals
The list of required government approvals and conditions varies depending on the type of activity. You can view them through the Municipal Activity Requirements Inquiry service via the provided link.
Notes / Reminders
If the commercial registration is transferred through the Ministry of Commerce, the related commercial licenses will be transferred automatically, and there is no need to submit a separate ownership transfer request via the Balady
platform.
If the new owner accepts the ownership transfer but fails to complete the requirements, the transfer will be processed automatically after 14 working days from acceptance.
