This service allows citizens and residents to register the death of a first-degree relative, an employee working for them, or a dependent electronically, after the hospital reports the death through the authorized system

Share The Page

Log in to Absher platform and go to My Services > Civil Affairs Services > Death Certificate Services.
Select "Issue Death Certificate."
A list of death reports without an issued certificate will be displayed.
Choose one of the reports.
Agree to the declaration and select "Confirm Issuance."
The certificate will be issued electronically.

The service is available to individuals (citizens and residents) who have an active Absher.
To issue a death certificate, the death must be reported by the hospital where it occurred.
A death certificate is issued only once after the death has been reported. Individuals can then view all death certificates for their immediate family members.
The user must be related to the deceased in one of the following ways to issue a death certificate:
o Children can issue a death certificate for their parents if one of them dies.
o Parents can issue a death certificate for their spouse or children if one of them dies.
o Spouses can issue a death certificate for their children if one of them dies.
o Employers can issue a death certificate for their sponsored employees if one of them dies.

To issue a death certificate, the death must be reported by the hospital where it occurred.
The relationship between the user requesting the death certificate and the deceased must be one of the following:
o Children may request a death certificate for a deceased father or mother.
o The father may request a death certificate for a deceased wife or children.
o The mother may request a death certificate for a deceased husband or children.
o An employer may request a death certificate for a deceased resident employee.
o A legal guardian may request a death certificate for a deceased dependent.
