This service allows citizens to renew their national identity card electronically using the latest facial recognition technology, with the option to have the document delivered to the registered address without the need to visit Civil Affairs offices.

Share The Page

Log in to the Absher platform and select Civil Affairs Services > National ID Services.
The service welcome page and its conditions will be displayed.
Select National ID Renewal.
Upload a new photo and click "Next."
The system will automatically verify that the photo meets the required specifications.
Select the address and pay the delivery fees.
Review the request and confirm.
A reference number will be generated and the request will be saved.

The beneficiary cannot submit a request while an existing request is active.
This service is available when 180 days or less remain until the National ID expires.
The beneficiary must have a registered address

No unpaid fines for the beneficiary in the Civil Affairs sector.
A recent personal photo that meets Civil Affairs requirements, with the following specifications:
- Format: JPEG 2000
- Size: Not exceeding 1MB
- Dimensions: Multiples of 4×6
Payment of National ID delivery fees through available channels.
Settlement of any Civil Affairs violations for the beneficiary.
Acknowledgment of the accuracy of the entered data and acceptance of terms when submitting the request.
Activation of the renewed National ID after receiving it to ensure its validity.
