Makkah- SPA The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired this week's Cabinet session which was held at Al-Safa palace in Makkah yesterday.At the outset of the meeting, the King described the achievements accomplished in the Kingdom over the last few days as blessed projects, thanks to Allah Almighty and the efforts of the people of this country. He cited the laying of the foundation stone of the new expansion project for the Holy Mosque and the opening of a number of developmental projects at the two holy mosques and the sacred places.He said he was reassured of the kind and quality of the services rendered for the big numbers of Umrah performers and visitors of the two holy mosques who came from different parts of the world, urging the authorities concerned to exert more efforts to make the sacred journeys of Muslims to the sacred places complete comfortable ones.The monarch, then, briefed the meeting on the talks and contacts he made with some leaders of sisterly countries on the developments of situations in the region and the world at large, including a telephone call from King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein of Jordan and Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime and Foreign Minister of Qatar.The Cabinet announced that nobody in the Kingdom would be allowed to become member of more than five boards of directors of stocks companies simultaneously. However, he was allowed to do that in the boards of directors of stocks companies non-listed in the money market as well as combining the membership to the boards of directors of stocks companies non-listed in the money market together with the membership to no more than five boards of directors of stock companies listed in the money market.Non-Saudis were barred from taking part through time or promoting it or gaining any rights according to contracts of participating through time except through heritage of real estate and touristy units in Makkah and Al-Madinah. The General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities was instructed to intensify inspection tours to stop violations and enforce penalties on violators.The Cabinet renewed the membership of each of Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Guwaiz, Hussein bin Hasan Abu-Dawood, Salman bin Mohammed Al-Jishy and Khalid bin Malik Al Ghalib Alshareef to the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Regions for three years, retroactive 10/7/1432 H.The Cabinet appointed Saleh bin Hasan Al-Afaleq as a representative member of the private sector to the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Regions for three years, effective the date of enforcing this decision.The Cabinet approved the following appointments:1- Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed bin Hasan Al-Khalil as Mayor of Assir Region, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (15th Rank)2- Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Saad Mufleh as Assistant Undersecretary of the General Presidency for Meteorology and Protection of Environment for Environment Affairs3- Atiyyah bin Othman bin Gurmallah Al-Ghamdi as Minister Plenipotentiary at the Foreign Ministry4- Mohamamd bin Ali bin Othman Al-Zamel as Economic Expert at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (14th Rank)5- Othman bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rugaie'e as Director General of Customs of King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Customs Department (14th Rank).
