Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques holds talks with Qatari Emir

Riyadh - SPA Regional turmoil, including the deteriorating security situation in Yemen, was the focus of talks held Tuesday between Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. The two leaders reviewed their strong brotherly ties and discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields. King Salman later hosted a lunch at his palace in honor of the Qatari emir and his delegation. Top Saudi and Qatari officials including members of the royal family attended the talks and the lunch. Prominent among them were Crown Prince Muqrin, deputy premier; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior; Prince Mohammed bin Salman, minister of defense; Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Riyadh governor; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, National Guard minister; and Ibrahim Al- Assaf, minister of finance. From Qatar’s side, the meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani, Qatari prime minister and minister of interior; Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Atiyyah, minister of foreign affairs; and Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al-Thani, chief of the emir’s court.
