Jeddah - SPA: Meteorology Department warned about a second more severe cold wave that will start on Wednesday. It is expected to involve drastic drop of temperature on the northern regions. It may drop to as low as -2 to -5 degrees. Snowfall is expected on the northern heights. The effect of the wave would extend to the western, central and eastern regions next Saturday. The southern region, particularly Najran and its surrounding areas will be affected. The wave will be accompanied with brisk wind that may recede on Sunday morning. KSA may be exposed to further cold waves during the upcoming period.
