Riyadh, e-Media:Ramadan Gun in Makka will fire seven sound shots to announce and celebrate the advent of Holy Ramadan.One shot will be fired to announce Etfar time (end of the fasting day), one shot to announce starting of Sahur time (pre-fasting meal) and two shots to cease food intake and start fasting, according to "SPA”.Upon completion of Ramadan, many shots will be fired to announce and celebrate the advent of Eid Al-Fitr. Approximately 150 shots in total will be fired from the beginning of Ramadan up to Eid.
