Ministry of Education to Participate in Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025

Riyadh, SPA: The Ministry of Education will participate in the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 9 to 13, 2025. This exhibition will feature 134 scientific inventions from Saudi Arabia alongside over 1,000 inventions from 35 countries. Saudi Arabia's delegation will comprise 80% representatives from universities and companies, and 20% individual inventors and researchers from the private sector.Students from general education, universities, and technical training institutions, along with faculty members, students, and inventors from around the world, will compete for seven major awards presented by the exhibition. The inventions will cover a wide range of scientific fields including marine safety and technology, environmental technology and energy efficiency, nanotechnology and materials science, security and biometric technology, healthcare and medical devices, robotics and electromagnetic technology, transportation and infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.Deputy Minister for International Cooperation and head of the participating Saudi delegation Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Aqili emphasized that the ministry's participation reflects its commitment to supporting and nurturing students. He stressed the importance of increasing their participation in international scientific forums, with a focus on aligning national priorities with research, development, and innovation. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to cultivate globally competitive citizens. He also noted the exhibition's significance as a prominent international venue for invention and innovation.
