Jazan Honey Festival Concludes with SAR2.5 Million in Sales

Jazan, SPA: The Tenth Jazan Honey Festival, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Jazan region, concluded its activities at the Cultural Center Square in Al-Edabi Governorate. The event was part of the Jazan Winter 2025 festivities.Over the course of 15 days, the festival attracted more than 50,000 visitors from within and outside the Kingdom, who came to shop and participate in various activities. A total of 10 tons of premium honey were sold during the event, generating revenue exceeding SAR2.5 million. Notably, Sidr honey emerged as the most sought-after variety, alongside Qatad, Salam, Samra, Dom, Dahyan, Al-Talh, Al-Mrar, Al-Majar, and Al-Sahah honey, showcased by 60 beekeepers.The festival also featured a range of programs and events, including children's entertainment, theatrical performances, exhibitions by participating government departments, and a dedicated section for families involved in the cottage industry. In this section, 50 families exhibited their products with support from the Social Development Bank.The festival plays a vital role in generating job opportunities, enhancing economic growth, and improving the quality of local products.
