Al-Hogail Inaugurates 1st Saudi Proptech Summit with Wide International Participation

Riyadh, SPA: Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail today inaugurated the first edition of the Saudi Proptech Summit, which is organized by the authority over two days in Riyadh.The event will encompass a comprehensive review of the key technical advancements in the real estate sector, sharing beneficiaries' experiences, engaging in discussion sessions and workshops, with the participation of over 25 speakers representing 20 countries. The summit will be complemented by a real estate technical exhibition, featuring the involvement of local and international real estate and technical companies and platforms.During the inaugural ceremony, Al-Hogail emphasized that the initiation of the Saudi Proptech Summit signifies the burgeoning potential of the dynamic real estate sector in empowering the private sector and fostering the development of real estate and infrastructure projects. He further highlighted the authority's commitment to bolstering real estate technical initiatives through the implementation of robust real estate legislation and regulations, thereby creating new market opportunities that contribute to diversifying the local economy's sources of income and supporting non-oil GDP.The opening ceremony incorporated the release of the real estate technology report, the introduction of a real estate indicators platform, and the unveiling of a real estate registry platform. Additionally, an accompanying exhibition was inaugurated, boasting over 50 pavilions representing 25 countries, with the active participation of various government agencies relevant to the sector event, alongside real estate and technology companies, startups, investment firms, and financing funds.
