Digital Government Authority: Digital Experience Maturity Index 2023 Increases by 80.68%, Platforms Evaluated by 134,000 Participants

Riyadh, SPA: The Digital Government Authority has announced the results of the Digital Experience Maturity Index for 2023, with platforms evaluated by 134,000 beneficiaries. The general index marked an 80.68% increase. It focused on measuring the maturity of 24 digital platforms across four main perspectives: beneficiary satisfaction, user experience, complaint handling, and technologies and tools. These perspectives encompass 19 themes that measure various areas of the digital experience.Governor of Digital Government Authority Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan said that by reading the Digital Experience Maturity Index, the authority can endeavor to increase beneficiary satisfaction, enhance their digital experience and improve interaction with them, in accordance with the strategic directions of the Digital Government Authority and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.Al-Suwaiyan praised the development of digital government platforms in Saudi Arabia and their role in improving the quality of life, facilitating business practices, enhancing competitiveness, and achieving government efficiency. The Digital Government Authority has contributed to the advancement of Saudi Arabia in international indicators and reflects the unlimited support provided to it by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.The authority announced on March 14, 2023, the start of the second cycle of the index, which includes the evaluation of 24 digital platforms, double the 12 platforms in the first cycle.The general Digital Experience Maturity Index received a rate of 80.68% in the second cycle, compared to 77.26% in the previous cycle. Moreover, the number of participants in the platform evaluation in this cycle stood at 134,000, compared to 18,000 in the previous cycle.The results of the top 10 digital platforms were as follows: Ehsan Platform achieved 89.40%, Absher Platform 89.28%, GOSI Platform 88.10%, Seha Platform 86.50%, Zakat, Tax and Customs Platform 86.09%, and Tawakkalna Platform 85.35%. All these platforms reached the "Advanced" level of maturity.Etimad Platform achieved 83.20%, Najiz Platform 83.04%, Saber Platform 82.44%, and Saudi Business Center Platform 81.59%, all falling under the "Competent" level of maturity.The Digital Government Authority works on issuing this index on an annual basis, aiming to open channels of communication with entities benefiting from digital government services. This contributes to raising the level of maturity of platforms, improving the quality of services provided, and achieving the strategic objectives of digital government.
