Eastern Health Cluster includes all health facilities connected to the Ministry of Health in the Eastern Region, that entails 22 General and Specialized Hospitals and 131 Primary Health Care Centers. The cluster has restructured, including the establishment of Hospital Networks based on geographical location and demographical form to provide integrated health services starting from prevention then primary care; as well as secondary and specialized care in hospitals, home and extended care, virtual medicine and other services at all levels of health care. The central administration also assumes the tasks of leadership, supervision, strategic direction, management of common services and comprehensive governance. The Health Sector Transformation Program aims from this organization to ensure the achievement of the objectives of program and the modern model of care by managing the health of community members in a manner that ensures the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and prevention.
