It specializes in the regulations, instructions and procedures for citizens and expatriates, issuing necessary travel documents to citizens to secure their travel to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, residence in foreign countries, and the registration of their departure and arrival. As for expatriates, the Passports Directorate organizes and regulate their entry, reception and residence in the Kingdom, whether it is for work, visit or to perform Hajj and Umrah. The directorate also monitors their legal status in the Kingdom, grants them the necessary travel visas, and registers their arrival and departure.
