Request to coordinate a scheduled project

Ministry of Municipalities and Housing

It is a service provided to government agencies and private agencies across the Kingdom. It allows early notification of major construction projects by submitting a request for coordination of a scheduled project through the Baladi portal. This request goes through a coordination and approval cycle, and an approved coordination report is issued if the authorities approve. This report is considered Requirement for issuing a building permit for this project.

The project owner or his authorized representative fills out and sends a scheduled project coordination request after logging in to the major projects coordination platform on the Balady platform and verifying the applicant's status and the accuracy of all data, reviewing the service requirements and commitments and acknowledging that he has read and adhered to them.
The request is automatically published to all concerned parties (coordination and accreditation bodies) and they are notified of the presence of an incoming request that must be reported within a specific coordination period.
Once the request is accepted, all concerned parties and the applicant are notified of the issuance of the scheduled project coordination report and its availability for printing, and its inclusion in the scheduled projects plan.

The project owner must notify the project early to receive it as a scheduled project by submitting the application within a specific date of each calendar year.
The applicant's status must be verified if he is (owner of a facility / facility manager) from the Ministry of Commerce or authorized by the facility through the municipal authorization service.
The project must comply with the criteria for determining major construction projects defined by each secretariat in terms of area, budget and number of floors.
There must be no temporal or spatial conflict with any scheduled project.
The conditions and commitments specific to the service must be acknowledged.

Coordination is carried out with all the known parties within each coordination office and obtaining government approvals electronically during the application work cycle.
Commitment to attaching the traffic safety plan around the project site and the consequences of violating that plan.
Commitment to any updates received from the Project Coordination Office regarding the maintenance of the project area.
Commitment to the work plan dates for the project stages submitted in the coordination request.
The coordination report for the project must be obtained before proceeding to issue a building permit to build the site.
