Distinguished System - Faculty of Medicine Service

King Khalid University

A system that allows students to apply for internship training, and allows the college staff to review and select all the applications to match the batch, ensuring the automation and ease of submission of all student requests, whether for training, deferment, leave, or change of location. It also allows the staff to view all the requests and generate reports for them, as well as ensuring clear and easy procedures for approving the requests.

Ensure that the conditions are met:
Ensure that you have completed all the requirements for graduation from the Faculty of Medicine, such as passing the final exams and completing the required clinical training.
Choose hospitals and medical institutions:
Search for hospitals and medical institutions that offer accredited internship programs.
Choose the hospitals you wish to train in based on the available specialties and location.
Prepare the required documents:
Collect and prepare all the required documents as mentioned above (such as national ID, academic record, recommendations, etc.).
Ensure that all documents are up to date and correct.
Apply through the university:
Submit the internship application through the Internship Department at the Faculty of Medicine.
Fill out an electronic form.
Submit copies of the required documents to the Internship Department.

The internship program lasts for a full year, and students must successfully complete the period
The student must move between different medical departments to gain comprehensive experience
Commit to daily attendance at the specified times, and report any absences in advance
Students are subject to continuous evaluation by the supervising doctors of each department
Students must actively participate in clinical activities and lectures
Students must adhere to the highest standards of professional and medical ethics
Submit the required reports at the end of each training period in the department.

Details of the internship program:
- Desired medical specialty during the internship period
- Selected hospitals or medical institutions for training

Required documents:
- A copy of the national ID or residency card.
- A recent personal photo.
- A copy of the university certificate or proof of graduation.
- A copy of the academic record (transcript).
- A letter of recommendation from the college or one of the professors.
