Professional registration for media professionals

General Authority of Media Regulation

An electronic service provided by the General Authority for Media Regulation, which enables media practitioners to obtain a document that preserves their professional rights and allows them to access information sources more quickly, without the need to visit the Authoritys headquarters.

Start the service

Share The Page

Log in to the e-services portal (Media Platform).
Select the service (Registration of Media Professionals).
Complete the required data.

The applicant must be working in the media field or related sectors, or hold an accredited academic degree in one of the media specializations, or have experience in the media field.
In the event that the applicant does not have sufficient experience, training courses will be considered according to the discretion of the specialists in the Authority.
When updating any of the information for the professional registrant, the Authority must be notified via the Media Services Platform (Media).
The applicant for professional registration must not be less than 18 years old
For non-Saudis, the profession registered in the resident ID must match the required media profession.

Attach supporting documents and papers to the CV that prove practicing the media profession.
