Request to amend the qualification of a barley importer

General Food Security Authority (GFSA)

An electronic service provided by the General Food Security Authority that allows beneficiaries to modify the importer qualification request without the need to review the authority without the need to visit the entity.

Upon approval and within (5) months, you are obligated to provide all necessary licenses and certificates.
Providing a financial guarantee worth (500) thousand riyals
Documents for registration in the commercial registry for the activity
Certificate of membership from the relevant Chamber of Commerce.
Certificate of Zakat and Income Payment.
Social Security registration certificate.
The Labor Office certificate proves compliance with the Saudization percentage.
Brand approval from the Ministry of Commerce
The warehouse ownership deed or the rental contract is documented through the Ministry of Housing's Ejari platform.
Storage capacity for barley of no less than 45,000 tons, in addition to sufficient space for turning and movement.
The importer is obligated to maintain a reserve stock of barley for no less than (50) working days based on the sales volume for each affiliated station and to replenish the stock periodically.
Storage capacity for bags of no less than 900,000 bags inside a covered warehouse
Bear the responsibility for damages resulting from weight shortages, or the packing of impurities with barley, or the packing of barley unsuitable for animal use, or the exposure of barley, whether loose or treated with toxic pesticides, inside the station and during transportation.
Storage capacity for barley of no less than 45,000 tons, in addition to sufficient space for stirring and movement.
The importer is obligated to maintain a reserve stock of barley for no less than (50) working days based on the sales volume for each affiliated station and to replenish the stock periodically.
Storage capacity for bags of no less than 900,000 bags inside a covered warehouse.
Assume responsibility for damages resulting from weight deficiencies or the mixing of impurities with barley, or the packaging of barley unfit for animal use, or the exposure of barley, whether loose or treated with toxic pesticides, inside the station and during transportation.

Image of the Chamber of Commerce membership certificate.
A copy of the Zakat payment certificate.
A photo of the social insurance registration certificate.
Image of the Saudization rate.
Municipal license photo.
Civil Defense license photo.
A photo of the insurance certificate for barley and bags.
A copy of the trademark registration certificate (import for commercial purposes)
A copy of a financial guarantee worth (500) thousand Saudi Riyals (in case of import for commercial purposes).
A copy of a certified commitment from the Chamber of Commerce, valid and stating the prohibition of commercial sale of barley (in case of import for the purpose of feed production).
A copy of the industrial license (in case of import for the purpose of feed production).
A copy of the General Authority for Food and Drug Administration license (in case of import for the purpose of feed production).
