KACST Celebrates Graduation of 46 Deep-Tech Startups, Awards Technology Licenses

Riyadh, SPA: The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) celebrated the graduation of 46 deep-tech startups from the KACST Venture Program (KVP) on Wednesday. The program, held at 'The Garage' with support from the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), culminated in the graduation ceremony attended by KACST President Dr. Munir bin Mahmoud El-Desouki, along with several dignitaries, research and innovation leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors. In his address, the Supreme Vice President of the Innovation Sector at KACST, Dr. Khalid Bin Abdelrahman Al-Dukkan, stated that the institution has been working within its strategic framework to maximize research, development, and innovation outcomes. He added that the initiative connects startups with government and private sectors, as well as investors, to develop and transform innovative ideas and projects into marketable products and services, contributing to the national economy.
